Although the mantra of hands face space' will undoubtedly continue to be a component of our routine it is apparent that the confidence building is evident and connections between face-to-face are being made. Rotary is indeed changing. As we flow through the summer of 2021, there is a lot of uncertainty about whether our work with society will be able to include the essential human connection experienced by Rotary members in previous times. However, it is evident that the mantra of hands-on-face will continue to be the norm for Rotary. Rotary, however, has evolved. Rotary has evolved. The way we conduct our business has been redesigned to keep online meetings at the forefront of our businesses, while reintroducing events for service and social in an in-person format. The new possibilities were accompanied by our most effective pre-pandemic strategies to provide a fresh and exciting outlook for Rotary. Recent Rotary survey revealed that approximately 75% clubs were planning to go on the same business routines. The piece below. Amanda Watkin is the General Secretary of Rotary Magazine.
